New Member from Ontario
Hi, I am a regular on the S10forum(and when I say regular I mean I am never off). But I figured it's time to get active on a Camaro board....I am 18 and in University(university of Toronto), I've got 3 cars.....a 78 MGB, a 2000 GMC Sonoma ZQ8, and of course my 84 Camaro. The Camaro was my dads car(original owner) and I bought it from him. I've owned many other f-bodies as well over the last few years, but never for long periods of time. My g/f recently got a 95 Firebird....So at least the F-body tradition is alive in her too.
Right now I've been drivin the Sonoma and the Camaro and MGB have been in storage for about a year. The Camaro has almost 400,000km's on it's 2.8L
....But otherwise it's got a perfect body with original paint(worn in spots) and a perfect interior. I am not sure whether I wanna rebuild the 2.8 or do a swap. Right now it runs perfect(most reliable car i've ever own), but I know it's time to do something as thats alotta km's for an untouched motor. So hopefully in the spring I can get on that. I really love this car, it was my first automotive love, I'll NEVER let it go.....I practically grew up in the back seat of this car, and now I own it.
I am also gunna be starting the process of preping the MGB for autox comps. It's an all original car with only 23,000miles!
Oh, and this weekend I am going to look at a 90 RS(305 V8) for sale....so I might have another project.
anyway....heres the pics.
My 84...Pretty much stock...few little touches.(ps. I have centre caps for those rims now....I hate old pics!)
My 78 MGB...Few minor asthetic mods

My 2000 GMC Sonoma ZQ8.....My daily. 2000 GMC Sonoma ZQ8. Sony sound, Sreet Scene Cal Vu power/heated mirrors, removed throttle body restrictor....few other minor mods....And yes I've wetsanded/polished those headlights since this pic was taken, damn those look terrible.

G/F's 96 Firebird(3.8L)....only 45,000 original km's!!(not sure what that is in miles....but it's not much!). Needs some minor work, so I'll probably be posting about that in the near future.

BTW: If theres any meets or anything going on in the Southern Ontario area lemme know. I know some F-body people used to meet at the Street Classics thing on the Queensway....but I've been outta the Camaro scene for awhile now.
Me and some buddies meet usually friday nights at the timmies in the meadowvale towncentre(approx 401 and winstonchurchill)if anyone knows where that is come on out sometime.

Thanks
I love MGB GT's....I am actually looking for one as a winter vehicle....How cool would that be! My dad has been into british cars since he got his MGA at 14 and restored it. He still has that same MGA, plus about 5 other british cars.

Oh sweet meat, that's awesome. My dad is a die hard brittish car loving freak. An MG for a winter beater... now that is different. I bet that little sucker can plow through the snow. I though it was a triumph you first posted, so I had to look again. I don't remember what year dad has but it's a hard top. He was going to paint it british racing green but found the brittish red/maroon and I stole it and put a little love in it and slapped it on my Scirocco which I smashed before the paint cured....damn it. So do you belong to a club for the MG, I no dad is looking for a few parts.
Cool, theres alotta clubs around....North Amercian MGB Register, MG Car Club of Toronto are probably the biggest and best. Theres british Car day every September in Bronte park in oakville, hosted by the triumph club it's now the biggest single day car show in North America., if you've never been definatly plan to make it next year.
lol, we've got a TR6 also....so no racism againt triumph's.....those inline 6's really move.
For parts, lemme know what you need and I'll check the 'reserves'(you don't own this many british cars and not keep a few spares around)...If not MOSS motors in California manufactures pretty much every peice you'll ever need for an MG.
