New Member needing Camaro answers
Hello Camaro fans - I'm a new member of the forum...always loved Camaros, unfortunately never owned one. Nevertheless, still love all bow-ties!
I am the owner of Surf City Corvettes in Sunset Beach, California. We buy and sell the obvious, as well as other muscle cars, classics, more specifically Chevys, Camaros, Chevelles, etc. You get the picture!
I have a client interested in selling his 1969 Camaro SS resto-mod. But I need help in figuring out how to know if it is a true Camaro SS....not a clone. Can someone please share their expertise with me so I can determine if this is an authentic vehicle?
So looking forward to being a part of your community and hoping you will welcome me into learning more about Camaros. And hopefully I can contribute to this forum as well.
Thank you!
John

Welcome John. The main way to prove the car is an SS, is either by having a numbers matching engine, or supporting documentation from when the car was ordered new. This info will be helpful: Chevy Camaro FAQ SS Identification
