Camaro SS didn't exist in 1994, so the guy who posted the first link is either a moron or a liar. Out of the LS1 cars I would go for the one that has the least miles. The 22" wheels on the white 96 look really really dumb (in my opinion) and he's trying to get his money out of them, so that one is over priced. As far as the Firebird, it has a nice amount of miles on it, but seems too high priced as well.

For a FIRST car? Buy something you won't miss if you lose it. Cheap, too. Shi- happens, and wouldn't you rather write off a $300 car that would've blown itself up anyway than a pretty Camaro that you wanted to keep forever?
But, if you have to do it anyway, I'm gonna say the red 2000 SS, or this:

OK, do you want a camaro, TA or corvette?? Or best for your cash.
The 2 red camaros on here seem the best out of the bunch but have all been modified, do you want this. The cars will have been driven hard and although they can take it has the owner serviced and maintained it? I change oil every 5000 miles or less, sometime I do it after a drag day.
Plus they are a little pricey in my oppinion, you'd need to have a drive in the manuals, the boxes are like they are from a tractor, and 2 to 3rd always seems a bit stiff.
Alot a word of warning is to respect it, especially in the rain. Im not preaching but ive been there and done the stupid thing and was gutted that I wrecked my 'maro. Luckly I rebuilt it but am $3500 down which was saved for the engine! Do you want to start stock and do it yourself or buy someones half done project. Also on the dark red one, why would you sell a car you have done up and have a full unpainted body kit for??

they all seem like they are trying to cash in. this z28 that i bought was 4500, 2000yr 102k miles well kept. technically this is my first car, however it wasnt the first car i have driven for 5 years. for the first 5 years i was driving a 88 taurus meaning cheap, could take and give hits, comfortable, and i didnt feel pain coming on if it dont dented or hit( which never happend thnk god), my point is, now that i know the road and i can handle myself and cars better than decent, i got the camaro. but if this is going to be your first car, as in to drive regularly, its like giving an idiot to clean a loaded gun.
