Default Looking for answers about my 67 Camaro... Please help!

I have a 1967 Camaro. I am the 2nd owner. When I purchased the car in 1978, it had 9200 miles on it. It now has only 10,600 miles on it. The original owner took the factory motor out and installed a 427 in it. I am trying to find out a ballpark value on the car. The car is immaculate. All original paint, muffler, wiper blades, ect. It has never been in the rain and has always been garage kept under a cover. Is there anybody that can help me out? Thanks!

Same year I bought a '69 and stuffed a 427 in it,sigh wish I still had it.
Very nice car you have there, hard to price in this stinking economy but I'd have to say it's easily in the $20-$25K range and maybe as much as $30-$40K at auction with the right bidders in house if it's a true SS and depending on options.
Tell us more about it.

When you say "all original paint" I have to assume the hood was painted to match,it doesn't appear to be the stock hood and I imagine it was installed for carb/breather clearance with the big block installed.
Was the original engine a 350? is this a 4 speed car? 12 bolt posi rear? multileaf springs?
Numbers matching original parts?
All this makes a difference in value.

Its assame they replaced the hood. You are missing a emblem up front. Its going to be tuff to convince someone that is orginal paint with a perfectly blended in aftermarket hood. You should decode your cowl tag. In 67 many of the original options will be listed.

If its a Clone it would be worth about 30K, if its a original SS 350/4 speed car 45K, if its an orginal 396/4speed car 55K. Course the market is really picky right now. All orginal cars still do well and the complete redone touring cars do well but your is somewhere in between.

This pic shows the emblem you are missing.
