Just picked up this '99 Camaro California car with the 3.8 V6 for $1,000 bucks. Mint paint, T Tops and everthing seems to work.

I've owned an '89 Camaro RS in the past 305 TBI and a '95 Firebird Forumula LT1 in the past but unfamiliar with the V6 so will be looking for advice.

P.S. I'm and Automotive Photographer so I don't take basic snapshots. LOL This really is the car.

Welcome to Camaro Forums. Looks like a nice one, and at $1,000, you stole it.

Has a lot of miles on it but passed Smog seems to run just fine and interior was nice. Was hard to pass up. Sold my '89 RS I lost interest in fixing for $500 so I'm into the silver one for $500. Go Figure.

As said, has a lot of miles 180,000 but seems to run perfectly and was well taken care of. Has a little leak underneath but have yet to get it on the hoist. Trans fluid looks fresh and new. Both "Problem child" power windows work, A/C and CD player also. One thing I did notice is the shift points on the Auto for the V6 seem a bit higher than V8 cars but not sure if that's normal.

Does need struts and shocks since the base Camaro ride is too "Cushy" for my taste. Should have at least taken the KYB rear shocks off the '89 before I let it go.

No it's not anti freeze. Just have to get it on the hoist but have a dead player on it right now.

My old '95 Firebird Formula. HATED this car. Nothing but problems.... Two fuel pumps, power windows, A/C, Headlight motor and Transmission.

My old '89 RS in better days. IROC wheels, KYB's and B & M shift kit. LOVED this car but it's time was up.
