Hello,
I saw your site and had to join, since I have been a Camaro enthusiast for years.
Right now I have a 1973 RS with the original motor and trans.
I have rebuilt the motor and threw in a few addons.
Edelbrock high rise manifold
Edelbrock 650 carb
chrome rings and flat top pistons, bored 30 over
Had the heads redone and picked up a cam that
was originally in a 60's 327 corvette.
Also, went with the double timing chain and high volume oil pump.
A few more odds and ends. (tach, paint, carpet, head liner)
Picked up the car from a salvage yard for $375.00 and drove it home with a big smile
on my face. lol It was originally a Maroon color, now its Jet Black with a fully functional
hood scoop. This is my 3rd Camaro. The very first one was a 1981 RS, that I put a 327
in. Dark Blue Metallic. 2nd Camaro was a 1975. Nothing special about it, didn't have it long.
Maybe thats why. lol
Anyways, Nice site you have here! Thanks for making it available to the public.
EDIT**EDIT*Oops forgot my pics*** They can be seen here:
http://www.geocities.com/kidkwik_graphics/mycars.html
My camaro pics aren't that great, both cars I have listed on the site
was early pictures before I bought wheels, tires and such, but never the less
there they are. My GTO Pictures was what the car looked like before I had the top painted.
(I removed the vinyl top that wasn't factory and had it repainted black to match the rest)
