I just found your site and haven't had much of a chance to browse yet.
I have been away from the Camaro sincethe last one I bought new in 1973.
To tell you the awful truth, I wasn't too impressed with the little 6 cyl. I had back in the old days, and sold it after only about 8 months. It was a slow dog, and had no pep at all.
A few days ago I bought a "pig in a poke" and really came out a winner. (at least I think I did)
I bought a 2002 Z28, 5.7L Automatic Trans., X-cop-car.
I bought it from the Arkansas State Surplus Auction.
It has 97460 miles on it.
Today I left it with a very good mechanic at a local shop to get checked out, and he told me he could find nothing at all wrong with it. The Transmission is still good and tight, and there are no knocks or pings, and the body and interior are practically mint.
I have heard that many of the police units were gifted with the B4C package.
I don't know if mine has that or not, because I don't know what to look for.
I'm looking forward to learning all I can about my Camaro as well as everyone elses.
If I can figure out how to post a photo on this site, I will.
I am over 60 and my flying days are pretty much over, but I sure like knowing that this Camaro will do the trick. I must say I am very impressed so far.

Welcome to the forum. It looks good and clean for being a x cop car. Glad you gave the Camaro a second chance. I think the Camaro will give you a little wind under the wings. And that's awesome, over 60 and driving a Camaro.
