Hey, I just signed up. A little about me, or really my car. I am working on a 1980 camaro berlinetta with T tops. It is currently primer grey and quite uggly. This was originally a farm field find. My friend pulled it out of the mud it was littterally stuck in. There was no engine or transmition. Factory it came with a v6. Now it has a 305 v8, but I hope to drop in a 383 stroker in the future. My friend got it barely running, then ran out of cash. I bought it from him, I think I paid way too much, but with a little hard work and some enginuity it runs really strong now. This is goingto be a long project, but a fun one. It is kind of my daily driver. My wife and I use our other car, but when we need two cars I take the camaro. I don't know a lot about working on cars (more than the average joe though)so I am learning as I go.

Welcome! Good luck with the restoration! I picked up a 1980 Z28 in a small town next to a garage and am slowly resurrecting it back to life. Needs a rebuild on the motor, so it is out and ready to be rebuilt. Oh joy!
