His car is so much slower than mine i don't understand it he has put far more money in his than I have mine. Some salesman said that my car was built with the police package if so what markings will prove this and would it make my car that much better

If it has Z28 badges on it, it doesn't have the B4C "police package." Check the RPO codes in the glove box for RPO code "B4C." If it isn't in there, it doesn't have the "police package."

If your car is much faster than a modded 2000 SS, it has some pretty nice mods done to it.

I just remembered something to check. So simple and stupid that people forget. F-body LS1s have a cable operated throttle. I recall when we put a fresh engine in ours once, we got the cable connected less than perfe3ctly and the throttle would only open about 2/3rds. You could floor the pedal but it didn't matter

You should check to make sure the throttle IS opening fully when the throttle pedal is depressed. Its a dumb thing but it does occasionally go wrong. (and it is easy to check).

That too. My cousin had a 1998 Z28 with an A4 and 3.23s, and it was ungodly slow. I had my 1994 B4C (still have it) and all it had at the time was a Flowmaster MUFFLER, Moroso CAI, Hyperjunk Power Programmer and air foil, and I SLAUGHTERED his car in a race. It wasn't even funny. At least 2 car lengths.
