Just bought a 69 Camaro for my wife the other day...Yes, I said for my wife....She has wanted one since she was 10 years old when her brothers were driving Cudas, Challengers and Mustangs.
So I got a settlement for a motorcycle accident I was in 3 years ago and decided that she has put up with me for the last 5 years being married and 2 surgeries on my ankle from the accident and the countless money I threw into my old Harley. She deserves it...I figure now, she can't complain about the New Harley I bought last year and she has only gotten to ride twice. So...I am now trying to decode the firewall tag...Found a couple sites with a lot of info. We plan on repainting it as the Band-aid stripes weren't clear coated over and in two places they are chipped a little.
It has Z-28 badges on it, But it is definately a clone...Has original Brightwork all around and is in Very good condition. Compared to some of the stuff that is selling on some auction sites, it is easily an 8 or 8.5 I would say.
So that is our new baby. When I get some time, I will post some pics.
