Default Looking to buy!

Hi all, new at this, I've been looking to buy newer style, I have a 73, now in perfect world, I would go right out and get a ZL1 , but I'm getting as a so called toy, looking anywheres from 13-16 what allows for wallet, v8 would be great, but I looked, low miles, can't seem to find at my range, so question is, thoughts on 6 cyl, I know 300 plus horse, (nice) good ,bad, indifferent? Like LT, vs LS , I can't believe the prices on some of used ones, wow! Thanks for your time!

Welcome aboard, I can't help as I haven't driven anything newer than my '01.
Hopefully someone who has will chime in here after a bit, meanwhile we'd would love to see pics of the '73.
If you do Facebook there's a bunch of Camaro pages with thousands of owners, might want to check in there.

A 2013 V6 is a 14 second car stock. A 4th gen 98+ LS1 camaro is a 13.7 second car stock. 300 hp is at the top end of the RPM, You have to get there. The V8s have a lot more torque down low and just work better with a heavy car. If you wait prices will drop and if you don't you be stuck with the V6.

Thank you for input, now my 73 not normal, was my dad's, he built it in the early 80's , it's a head Turner ( I think at least) has a 427 punched out to 433, I'll get pictures on soon!
