Fun Fact #2: The speedo in the DeLorean is not true to the car. The real DeLorean speedo only goes to 85 mph. They replaced it with a 95 mph speedo so we could see Marty hit 88 mph..and we all know “some serious” stuff happens then!!

Fun Fact #1: Don’t fry bacon without a shirt on…

Default Yeah 88k and they resto-modded it. It's NICE!

I mean it. I LOVE the color, I love everything about it, except that the dealer ALWAYS CUTS COSTS. Check for bondo, hidden rust, etc. Ask for pictures of what it looked like before they did the restoration. Like was said above, you do NOT want lipstick on a pig. Take her out. Get on it. F**k the salesman. I want to hear all the creaks and could be warning signs that something on that motor is bad. Get a compression check or electronic equivalent. She is BEAUTIFUL. But I have never seen one not wrecked at least once in 20 years. I'm sorry I can't say: "looks good f**k it, go get it and worry about little things later. But I bought my gen 6 with 3.6k with 2.5% financing for 6 years. $335 a month and bought a supercharger with a 3 year powertrain warranty. So V6 supercharged and if I blow up the engine there are tons of LS V8s in junkyards with less than 10,000 miles. I just really thought it through. I plan on keeping it a long time.
Car was 26,800 with my trade $19980. Supercharger is $5500. Put on a rewards card. So we all look for deals that make us comfortable. Be comfortable before you buy it. Good luck. Keep us informed. I really care what happens.

Default The 2002 Camaro SS top horsepower was 320 SAE

Most of them had 275 SAE NET. That was Hella power 20 years ago. But not now. RWHP is 235 max. For 17k? If it has the same 20 year old motor I would not buy that car unless you plan on spending $10k putting an LT1 or LSX or any LS late model motor. I see the hood not sitting right either. Sorry I have posted 3 times but something says "pass" to me. Get a Gen 5 like other poster said. Front and rear control arm setup is kickbutt. About the same price and you get Bluetooth, Google maps etc.
If you decide to buy it and that's the style you love then it's really up to you. I can't see out of mine. It's like driving a M1A1 without the treads. That's ok. I primarily drive ummm....forward. 😆
