Hello Camaro Lovers
Here is my Camaro story I have want a drag car for years I had a 72 Olds Cutilass in the yard for years so I started to make this a race car I rebuild the motor and a friend rebuild the transmission then my son found a 94 Camaro v6 he wanted but the motor was blown up and it was bad rod though the cylinder wall so one of his friends had a 93 Camaro v6 for sale for 350.00 and I purchased the car for the motor and parts and A friend was going to take the 93 body. After going thought the Olds body it was rusted real bad and I didn’t want the hassle of the body work so I got the 93 Camaro body back from my buddy and decided to make this my race car then I started to work on putting the Olds 350 motor and 350 transmission in this 93 Camaro this project took me about 10 months.
I have run a best of 8.82 @ 80 mph in the 1/8 mile. There is a lot more I want to do but money is a hold back now.So now I am the owner of a 93 Camaro powered by a Old 350.

Well thats certainly different........welcome from another FNG.

I once saw a 70 Camaro with a Ford FE big block in it,he even had 390 emblems from a Fairlane on the fenders .
The guy was a Ford freak but liked the Camaro body style,go figure?

 

Welcome. I dig the color. Of the mill that is.. I always thought an olds color would look good in a camaro, now I know.
