wondering what can it be??? lifters ? would it help if i put thicker oil???then its cold the ticking is louder this is when its already warmed up !

 

ya sounds like a lifter to me id try an oil change with thicker oil

 

i had a mechanic check it out and he said it needs valve adjustment but idk if he was right because i read online and the 3.4 camaro valves are not adjustable ( i think) anyways what kind of oil would be best for this ? i was thinking about 15w50 mobile oil 1 ?? i currently use 10w30 max life i have around 175,000 miles in engine
