Another Floridian.. we are taking over!
Im not 100% sure i wasnt already registered on these forums, i use to own a 89 rs a few years back, totally in love with the car but i decided id trade it in for a truck..
now my most recent toy is a 87 Iroc, 305, with some of the best interior ive ever seen on a 3g camaro.. doesnt even have the all too common rip on the door side of the drivers seat, im beginning to wonder if the guy climbed through the window dukes of hazard style cause even the driver door mounts seem to be brand new.
but im hoping to gain a bit of inspiration from these forums and maybe poke around for some help in deciding what i want my end result to be with this 87..
at the moment im going to start with the small stuff, saving up for that LS1 swap might take some time.. and while im on that subject. Is the LS1 crate still a really wise investment? back when i had my 89 i had a choice between the LS1 or the 502 crate, we ended up choosing the 502 crate and im not sure how pleased i was with the outcome, i thought it would give more power.. all of this is now a faded memory, but maybe i can dig up an old dyno slip and get some numbers posted.
anyway, good to be back behind the wheel of a camaro. spent entirely too long driving an integra and a 02 z71 thats almost tall enough to drive the camaro under.. [sm=outcold.gif]

Welcome to the forums, sorry it is late, I wasn't around when you joined...post up some pic's of your rides if you have any and swing by and vote for ROTM. I have an Iroc as well, 5.7.
