Default advice anyone?

Hello Camaro Folks, I'm new here and wondering if someone can tell me something. I looked at an old 95 Camaro today and was told it was a V Body, only 1500 or so made, ...do they know what they are talking about, if so, what is it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_V_platform_%28RWD%29

this is what I came up with. All camaros are F bodies, and this refers to the chassis platform. So I would have to say no, they dont know what they are talking about

Look at the 4th charachter in the VIN. If it is "F", then it is a F body, no matter what you are being told. The 5th character is the series, and that could be P, S, or V. P=Camaro, S=Firebird, V= Formula/Trasns AM.
