I am looking for a diagram of a 98 Camaro power window drivers side. My window does not go all the way up and I need a diagram before I take it apart. I know that there is a big spring in there and I would like to see where it goes. thanks

here is a start

 

sounds like someone replaced the regulator with out putting proper tension on the spring. be VERY careful when messing with it, that spring (when at the right tension) could swing the regulator around and really mess your hand up.

 

You are correct. the spring was not put back properly. My problem is that I need to see where it goes and how it is installed and I can not find any info on that. Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks patalor

 

When you buy a new regulator and motor already assembled is the spring already adjusted?

 

no you still need to put tension on it (at least the one i got did) i honestly dont remember how i did it, it was back in late 09 when i first got my 3.4L. something about putting the spring in with the window like 2/3rds down and using the window motor to tension it up.
