It seems I am having the same problems as alot of people with a 1989 Iroc z with a 5.7 Liter TPI. Starts but dies when I try to give it gas. It wont idle! I have replaced every sensor, filter,plugs and wires, fuel pump,cap rotor, esc, pickup coil, computer,even ignition switch and injectors. None of them helped! After reading all of the threads on this site I have ordered a new PROM chip in hope that it will fix it. I have owned this car for 20 years, after buying it from my aunt who purchased it new. It has 83,734 miles and has been a great car until this all started about a year ago. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT? Thanks Heath
