hey guys i just bought an 88 iroc z and the guy told me he swapped in a corvette lt1 some of my friends are skeptical about it but they really dont know camaros so i figured if i got the vin # off the motor it would tell me for sure any help on the location of the vin or is there any other way i could tell?

thanks it looks like that but the alternator is on the other side and the intake hose goes straight towards the front instead of turning ill see if i can post a picture

 

yup, that is the motor from the vette, they had the alternator on the right, and straight intake tube.
