Default What to look for when buying a 1995 Z28?

I'm going to be looking at buying a 1995 street/strip Camaro z28 this saturday and i was wondering what are some things to look for? car has draglites and 4.56 gears and is said to run a 8.3 in 1/8 motor. i'm looking to do a gear swap to 3.73s and make it a quartermile street strip car. but what are some things to look for damage wise from abuse? im coming from the foxbody mustang world so haha this is all new for me. http://img810.imageshack.us/img810/5...t25u5a5qbe.jpg

well i understand that, I just wasn't sure if there were certain areas to pay closer attention too like maybe torque boxes or cracks were the seats bolt to the floor etc.

lol yah you would want to look more from underneath. like you say cracks in housings on the torque side, its hard to tell on alot of the issues without taking things apart though you should be able to get a general idea of the length of abuse by observation.
