RE: were do i lift motor from?
HEADERS lol just kidding, they are studs, they have to be pressed out some how, just have to use your imagenation,, maybe a "C" clamp and a socket or something, then any parts store should have studs and if not they could tell u who to talk to to find some, then to press them back in u will just have to play with it, i dought that u could use the flandge to pull them in because u might bend the flandge on the y pipe or your exhaust pipe it self... hope i gave u at least 1 idea or a place to start

oh but dont they have threads on both sides , i mean on the bottom and on the top were they hold on to the exhuast manifold, and then they hold the y pipe with the flandge, and yes i had thought of using some sort of 'C' clamp to clamp it down but i thought that it had threads, if not then ill use a 'C' clamp. any more ideas are welcome

ok something just came to mind, i could use some pressure pliers and grave onto the bolt and twist it, but first i'll spray some of that w40 or i'll buy something better, because there is piece of stud left that i can grabe onto, and try to make it come loose, i could do that right??

RE: were do i lift motor from?
i would like to say that i am sorry and i was wrong. the studs are screwed into the flange on the Y pipe, i would try the visegrips but make sure to let your penatrating oil work into the threads. like spray it whenever u think about it for a good couple days then try it.... maybe?
a idea that u would have to asksomeone smarter then me to comment on but u could use a small tortch to get it hot and it might break loose im not sure about how close the fuel lines are above it because ive never worked on something like this on my lt1

Go and buy some PB Blaster, it's pretty easy to find and does a good job(better than WD40). Spray the studs and let them sit for at least a night. I'd spray them multiple times, just soak them. Then you could try using some vicegrips to get the studs out. Heating them up will probably do nothing because metal expands when you heat it, so if you try and get them out when it's hot, it'll be harder.
