what exactly do you check for in the wiring? just that the connector to the sensor is clean? or is there more?

 

It would be nice if these sensors actually worked... that way when some dip**** mechanic fails to install it properly your car doesn't dump coolant down a two mile stretch of road, soak the passenger side of the engine bay, and nearly seize from heat. That would really suck.

 

The whole retaining clip thing is a poor design.
