i havea 93 lt1. im reading the how to rebuild you Lt1/Lt4 book and its telling me that once the lash is eliminated to then turn an additional 360 degrees. i have had some friends tell me 90 degrees and some friends tell me 180 degrees. I would just like to know what you guys would do to play it safe?

 

Just did mine and I relashed them with the 360 degree turn. I have about 600 miles on the engine and no bent rods. I also have relashed them again since I got new valve springs and did it the same way again. Every engine is a little different so I would go with the way the LT1 book says to do it.
