Default Valve Lash Solid Roller 383

So I've got a LT1 out to a 383 stroker with a solid roller cam. It's time to adjust the rockers but I do not have the cam card for the lash specs. I do however have the other specs .525/.543-232/236. The brand of the cam is unknown and the Speed Shop that built the engine is now out of business. Previous owner is overseas so I cannot ask him either. So anyone here have an opinion. If you need more info let me know.

you will have to set the valve lash on each cylinder, start at 1 get it top dead center on the compression stroke loosen the rockers. Next, tighten the rockers until the pushrods becomes in a bind slightly, until you can barely but easily roll the pushrod with your index figer and thumb. Then do half inch to three quarter turn, then hold the adjustment screw with the wrench, and tighten the jam nut....repeat for all cylinders.

he's talking about a solid roller lifter cam I believe - you are talking about a hydraulic roller cam.

Yeah I already know how to do all that, and this is a solid not hyd. so I need to know the lash measurement (ex. .022). The spinning of the crank still applies but you put a feeler gauge in between the rocker and valve stem and tighten the nut until you feel slight resistance on the gauge. I say nut because I'm pretty sure it doesn't have positive-locks on it which I'll be installing. So all I'd like is for someone running the same or very similiar camshaft to chime in and tell me their lash setting and I'll go from there.

You are right, I didnt read it right...You are correct in the method of measurement for the solid roller. And the numbers you have .022 fall in line with normalcy .015-.030 tip of rocker to valve stem.
