I have the 4L60E transmission in my 95 Z28. I recently had the transmission rebuilt with a kit from TCI. The problem that I am having now is that when I am slowing down to stop at a lgiht the car is not gearing back down as it should. Thus when I try to take off the car just turns rpms but doesnt move. It has a 2200 stall brandnew, and a external cooler also. This is confusing me since this is the second time the transmission has given me this problem and I have somewhat pinpointed that it is happening when the car is running hot(sitting in traffic) for any amount of time. This problem has occured once already and i was told that the sprag was just out of adjustment. Apparently there is something else going on with this thing however. Anyone have some ideas on whats going on?

 

could be bad parts but im not a trans expert it sounds like your not getting fluid to your converter so i dont know though

 

wow, that's almost the exact same as my situation, 2200 stall, external cooler and all, except my third went out. the damn car has been in the shop for almost 5months now.
