Hi,
I'm looking for a camaro, and I found a worked 94 z28. The guy is only asking $2000 for it. Only problem is the transmission is starting to go. It's an automatic, and I would be putting a manual into it. Does anyone have an idea what it would cost to put a factory 6-speed in? Whats the cheapest way to go, stock for m a junk yard, or aftermarket, or whatever? I'm on a budget, I've only got $3500 to spend, and that's before buying the car. Thanks for reading!

Dont buy the car. if the tranny is going out it has been used and abused...... if you only have $3500 find a beater and make more money.or buy a 3rd gen.
