i was wandering if i should be concern with my 95 z28 camaro around the shaft area of the throttle body there was this dark brownish/ orange looking residue not much of it maybe a size of a quarter. i clean it off. the car still rides good. i just wanted to know is this normal.

 

Just normal gunking up, just clean it out. make sure yhe PCV valve is good working order to limit the amount of oil vapor winding up in the throttle body.
