How to you remove the net thats before the throttle body?

You mean the thing covering the MAF?

any fish in it? lol must be the maf like socom is sayin. leave it alone. you can clean it if your carfull. maf is very sensitive, doesnt take much to mess em up and they are not cheap. check shbox and see if theres a how to on there.

Ok I've cleaned it but is there a way to take it off?

no there is not. And dont remove it if you want your car to run right. That screen helps create a wind tunnel and force directed air across the MAF sensor. This gives the MAF a cleaner reading. Without that screen the air would be turbulant and random and could cause dead zones around the sensor, giving readings of less air than what is actually going through (leaner mix) or more air (richer mix). Either way you are losing optimum burn, and timing as well.

So leave that alone just make sure it is good and clean.

ok i just wanted to clean the throttle body and the sensor but ok.

use maf cleaner only, dont use starting fluid or carb cleaner and try not to spay on the elements. let dry completly before re installing.

yeah that's what i use but when i can't take off the net i can't get in there and wipe in i'll take of the whole throttle body and do it cuz my car shakes a bit and so did my moms ford explorer...after i cleaned it with the maf cleaner it dose not shake and runs very smoothly.
