Default thinking of running nitrous

I know there is a dedicated section for this but i only want to hear from people with lt1s that have experience running this.

My engine was just rebuilt and has all stock parts. except the cam and valve springs. howard springs forgot the model and cc502 cam.

I have been flirting with the idea of running nitrous. I have never touched the stuff before in my life and im thinking about running a small shot of it something like a 75-100 shot. What would be a good safe set up to run for my car. Yes im sure that there is nothing 100% safe when playing with this but im sure some set ups are safer then others.

Or should i just stay away from the stuff because my lack of experience with it.

i have thought about it but am staying away. its hard on everything and im hard enough on the motor as it is. anyways do more research on it and make an informed decision.

If you do want to do it, then I would say 100 shot is the most you would want to do, and not often. I don't know much on the stuff, but if you do run it, make sure you run your car richer and adjust the time either with a tune or an MSD adjustable timing module. Not sure how far or which way timing should be.

But like craby said, before you do it, get very knowledgeable on the stuff first.
