I am building an LT1 and dont know what cam to go with- I was planning on going with comp cams as they arent that expensive- looking for 400+ horespower so I'm going to want a cam with some power . My car is going to be a weekend driver so mpg is not that important but still considered. I was kind of looking for something larger than the hotcam- any advice?

 

The cam itself is not expensive, but you have to add up all the other stuff it needs to work right. Call Comp Cams & tell them what you have in mind, and they will recommend a grind to suit your purposes. I am sure they know more about their cams than most of us. Don't BS the people, otherwise they will pick something that won't make you happy,
