Hey guys, I know about the bypass, my car has it, but I was just wondering what the purpose or thought process was behind running coolant through the throttle body on the LT1's. Does our have something to do with the extremely high under hood temps in these cars?

 

It's to help prevent the throttle blade from sticking should you get incoming moisture then freezing in severe cold weather areas.
I doubt y'all gonna have that problem down there.
