Spark plugs and wires
Im goin to do the plugs and wires this weekend and have been reading different procedures from different sources. I was wondering If all I should have to remove is the starter and alternator to do this?

removing alt and starter should make the job way easier on the passenger side. i did mine when i was replacing the opti and having the water pump outa the way was nice but not necessary.

drivers side can all be reached easily from above.
Passenger side #6 and #8 are the tough ones but #6 the hardest.
For #8 you will need to lay horizontally across your engine and reach in between the header tubes but you get to it that way. I found #6 was easier from below. Just put a 5/8 socket on the plug and use an open end wrench. It also fits in between your header pipe.
With a service lift you can swap plugs and wires in under an hour.
Without a service lift i figure you add about 20 minutes contorting to get to #6
With stock exhaust manifolds I can't answer.
