The easiest way is to pull the old wire and hold it next to a new one. Due to the location of the Opti and the way the wires are run, both sides should be about the same.

Optispark spark plug wire connections, looking at front of car, from top to bottom of distributor cap

Right (passenger) side: 4(B), 6(C), 8(D), 2(A)
Left (driver) side: 5(G), 3(F), 7(H), 1(E)

If you don't know where the wires are going and they are not labeled, you will have to physically trace them, there is no other way.
Odd numbered cylynders are on the driver side, front to back 1, 3, 5, 7
Even numbered cylinders are on the passenger side, front to back 2, 4, 6, 8
