Question some help and advice???

hello, new here and just have some questions. eh hem... first off, i just bought a new lt4 camaro. basically, i love it to death but it has some strange issues. firstly it has the delco six speaker system. it takes Cd's and says err, then spits them out. well, if i add a CD changer will this substitute? if not do i need the monsoon compatible receiver or will the regular delco work fine? also the car makes a funky crumbling or weird noise coming from what sounds like the rear end of the car? nothing bad? what could this be? also the door locks! these are weird, the remote will set the panic off but not the door locks. but the button inside the doors locks and unlocks them just fine. what do i need to fix? anything will help. also, when i take off in first gear it hesitates slightly though it gets better every day i think. whats up with this, or is it the fact it was sitting at the dealer i bought it from for so long. any neat performance tips? any info is soooo appreciated!

what yr car? sounds like the rear differencial needs a lube job. make sure they put the additive in or it will do the same thing. runnin rough could be it needs plugs. they are a pain to do so its ussually something a new owner has to do. welll cause noone wants to do it. lol. dont know about the cd player or the remote locks. there is a mods thread on here.

the rear diff for my 93 takes 80w90 GL5 gear oil. do not forget to get the additive and put it in. u drain the differential takeing the plugs out. on bottom is the drain plug and about half way up is the fill plug. drains a little faster if u take the fill plug out to. have to anyways to fill it. put the additive in and then fill with 80w90 to the fill hole. takes about 3 pts.

Is the noise a roar or a weird clunck when you hit a bump?

your cd player just to needs to be replaced, mine did the same but kept the cd in it. i just change mine cd player to a pioneer cd player. watch out for the rear end because it may break your spider gears later down the road. i would have profesional check out the rear end.

the noise is more of a squeek and creek. i am told that like the guy above to flush and redo the diff fluid. so i can do it myself. and yeah i guess i will replace the cd player with an insignia. their cheap. i really appreciate it you guys rock!

I have Vette covers on my LT1 Vette! So I see no reason why you couldn't do it, considering it's basically the same engine externally.
