SHOULD A TRADE A 1997 RS FOR A 1994 Z28?
I CURRENTLY OWN A 1997 CAMARO RS AND I AM LOOKIN TO UPGRADE TO A Z28. THERE IS ONE FOR SALE IN MY AREA FOR $5,000. ITS A 1994 Z28 BLACK ON BLACK CONVERTIBLE, IT ONLY HAS 58,000 MILES... MINE HAS 125000 MILES. I BOUGHT MINE 6 MONTHS AGO FOR 5,000. SHOULD I TRY TO SELL MINE TO GO TO AN OLDER CAR, EVEN THOUGH IT HAS LESS MILES?

you probably might want a 95+ as they have upgraded vented opti-spark (still problem prone but better than old ones)...you can also read about swapping newer opti into an older car, but there are some mods involved... alsoin 96 they switched to OBDII, which gives you some more computer options, nice for aldl, yet older OBDI is almost as good and can be programmed for cheaper and even squezes a couple extra hp... the lower the mileage the better of course, but it still will need maintanence and tuneup - see my recent thread re: what i ve been going through with tuning up my 95.... imho, put a turbo on your rs and be happy (and lighter)... although having half the miles would be nice too... lt1 is a good start if you want more than 4-500+ hp, but many other engines are capable of 300 hp with forced induction

what does the vented opti does?? what is the purpose of the vent, is it to vent water from getting the opti damage. and could you buy a vented one for a 94, i dont know i think when i get my motor rebuild i will buy one, maybe the billet one, is that one vented? and defenetly i would trade man its worth the power, i trade my 01 mustang convertible for my 94 camaro i went 7 years down. The v6 was not a thread anywere i went lol, i needed power so i would trade it.
