mods: moroso cai,trick floe elbow, hooker cat back, high flow cat, full suspension. z06 rims, pcm tune. fan switch
what is the average running temp? also where is the gauge suppose to be at?
my car seems to slowly creep up around 230 degrees maybe 240? i have changed the thermo and added a "stop leak" since i had a small leak on the heater core hose which i have now replaced and "water wetter" additive. since i las changed the hose the car has been acting up tho.

 

did u flush the system when u changed the hose? probly should do a flush on the radiator too, best would be to take it out and flush a few times, shaking it to losen up the crudd when u get some water in it. that stop leak can mess the system up, clogg the thermostat and radiator. dont use it unless u really really have to. so it gets that hot with the fans running?

 

yeah it gets hot even with the fans running. i shall do the flush today and see what happens
