priming

Default priming

im about done with my motor and was wondering if anyone knows how to prime the motor before start up.

pump it? lol. need to have the intake off, take out the oil pump drive gear ( its where the distributor shaft would go down on a old sbc) u can use a long good sized screwdriver, cut off the end and put in a drill. or pick up a primer shaft set (way easier) and hook up drill to it. then u stick it down in the hole and line it up with the oil pump shaft slot to drive the pump. i primed mine before i put the motor in. i didnt see how i could get a drill under there once the motor was in. u can get a 90 elbow for a drill and do it that way.
