I think maybe someone may have put 3:73 gears in my 93 but I have (not proud or bragging) pegged it out at 150 in 5th and seemed to have actually quite a bit more left but i pushed in the clutch and coasted down to about 90 before i hit the brake. If it had 3:73's it probably would have tacked out be then wouldn't it? Sorry OP for starting this up, I was just trying to joke around about the 93 being faster stuff. I know you wanting info on power mods. Crabby, whammerand gorn are good in those areas. I would say chip burn, headers, exhaust and cold air intake. You would definately be over a stock 97 ss. Oh, Camaro69 knows a lot too. Those 4 guys should be able to tell you anything you need to know.
