Performance Package
I am looking for some advice.
LT1 to LT4 perfermance package from edelbrock.
I know i could get it ported and polished for cheaper maybe.. But i am just really wondering about what type of performance gain I could expect from this package.

30 is probably a little undershot, but i do believe what he meant is you would be blowing your money.

Edelbrock is overpriced for what you get. The LT1-LT4 conversion is overpriced for what you get. That's 2x overpriced for what you get 
Alright, so the math may not work out exactly like that, but you get my point. Check out the LE packages as Wham suggested, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck that way. Other places to check out include Advanced Inductions and Dragon Race Engineering.
