I bought some pacesetter mid-tube headers for my 95 z28. The problem is that the steering linkage rubs against one of the tubes. I already tried sliding the linkage down to its lowest point at the top screw of the linkage, with no success. I thought these things were suppose fit right into place.
Any suggestions?

are you suggesting denting the headers. I heard some people say that the motor mounts could be bad, would replacing the motor mounts help?

 

It could, old motor mounts make the motor sag.
