My car (96 z28) is throwing a "P0336B ckp sens circuit perf" code. is that my crankshaft sensor going out? I have seen a couple different answers to the code.
Also my car is running 230F after running for an hour, only water in the radiator, and with the a/c on. I just replaced my radiator and got my a/c fixed. Is that about normal for the lt1s?
Thanks in advance!

The CKP sensor in your car is used only to detect misfires, and does not affect engine operation. The actual crank position is sent to PCM by the Optispark. It could be the sensor is failing or that there is a problem in the wiring or connectors. As for the temp, the LT1 runs hot normally, and at 230 both fans should be running at high speed. Make sure the air dam under the front bumper is still there. Also, running on plain water is asking for a boil over situation.
