I also have a 93, I bought it from the original owner with ALL of the maintenance records since 93.

The opti was never replaced and it had 141,000 on it. The car was completly stock as the day he drove it off of the lot.

I just got done with a full tuneup and part replacement. I went with the MSD opti, wires and coil. Runs so much smother, pulls harder on the topend and the idle miss that it had is gone.

I also replaced the water pump, it was a good thing I did because the seal in the pump drive bearing was gone along with the bearing cage.

If you have the cash I say go for the MSD. If not look for the "optilady" I think she goes by on Ebay, she seems to have good parts and is recomended by several sites.
