my advice to you is to check for spark...Try uplugging a wire and having someone turn engine over while arcing out the wire..if you dont see a spark you are not getting any to the wires...Keep in mind there are many reasons for a car not starting so it could be anything fuel pump, ingnition switch, relays, etc...process of elimination!

no mine runs great still..just doesnt idle perfect...I didnt take any pics..the older opti didnt really have a hub, just a splined shaft (non vented opti)..I had to put the vented nwer opti in it.The 96 opti has the hub style with a pin hole and three bolt indentions to seat into cam gear.I cut a little off of it to fit....I still dont know if timing is perfect but i wouldnt think it would have such great throttle response and power if it was even slightly off timing..What do you think on that? Also, it idle at the rpm it should just kind of shaky..it stops when you gas it at all...I really dont want to tear everythimg back down to swap cams..I do have a performance billet cam for for a 96 z out of a 40 over built up engine i had so i will have to do a swap if i cant figure this funny idle out..
