Default Oil pressure switch?

So me and my friend have a 1995 Camaro with a 1996 LT1 in it, the problem is the oil pressure switch based on whats its doing. Our problem is we haven't been able to locate it so if you know where the switch is on the 96 LT1 that would be helpful.

The oil pressure switch is on the rear of the engine at the top near the egr hook-up. I replaced mine (on my 97) recently. I used an oil pressure sensor socket with a swivel and a couple of 10" extensions, and also had to lay on the motor to get it done. It's quite a reach for a short guy. It is angled toward the driver's side.

Ron, incorrect. A bad oil LEVEL switch/sensor will either (1) NOT trip the low oil light on the dash when the oil is actually low, or (2) always trip the low oil light even though the oil level is fine.
A bad oil PRESSURE switch is bad when either (1) no pressure reading on the dash at all, or (2) pressure gage jumps all over the place.
