well i got a new prob. the rocker arm stud on cyl 4 exhaut is bent. on this cyl, intake is where where i found the snapped pushrod. and also they replaced this head and not the other side, theyre idiots, lol. so i purchased a new stud and should be here in a couple of days. but where the stud goes, is kinda stripped and we are afraid to torqe it down. do they make a "liquid thread" sealant? or something to fix this issue? any ideas on what to do? please let me know as soon as you guys can, thanks peoples

Uncle, my 94 Lt1 had the same thing happen on the #8 cyl before i sent it out for rebuild. When we took off the oil pan, everything on the bottom end was ok. Guessing a valve stuck and maybe the pushrod fell out of place on the rocker arm and broke ? not sure what happened. You probably will have to pull the head to fix it,
carguyLt1 is right about the helicoil, Autozone has the kits cheap for sae and metric.
The broke pushrod was on the intake as well. craby , I'm not a mechanic but is this a likley event ? I'm still not sure what happened.

Default I've got a question...

i have an early model of the 94 camaro which supposedly used the 124 amp altenator and the later 94 used a 140 amp. does any body know why they did this and would it be better to use the 140. oh, and how do you test the amp. i think mine is dying not sure. battery has already been changed and i was told if it cant power everyting sometimes the ABS INOP light comes on and mine does
