Grrrr well thanks. I wish it was like the mustangs I got. I can run auto in the manuals but can't run manuals in an auto

pull the vss and make sure the plastic gear is still there and is not spinning on the shaft.

What plastic gear? All I see is hard steel with a slot

And just curious on this computer thing sorry a 93 is not computer controlled unlike the 94-and up

93 is an odd one, its partly controled by the computer. computer tells the auto trans when to shift and when to lock the converter. i have heard of guys using a auto ecu on a manual but not the other way. never seen it though so dont know what issues would come up. keep forgetting the manual has a different vss. ill have to look it up.

ok there should be a reluctor in there for the speedo. it looks sorta like a gear. anyways is this a 93 trans? heres some info for ya http://www.jagsthatrun.com/V8-chapte...ed-Sensors.pdf

Far as I know it's a m29 from what numbers and rpo code gave me

Well I took it to a shop again and this one said. Ecu or ground

My ecu is a ac delco reman 88999183 and according to them it works on both auto and manual????

The other computer I was gonna get is 16188051. Bmjt 8bbmjtk141236muc
