Need help fast!
Time to get the mulit meter out! Have you done anything to your car lately that could cause this, such as rewiring anything? I would start by checking the wiring at the bottom of the steering column to see if anything is shorted in the column. You have a direct short to ground (if the fuse is the right amp). Check the battery cables and wiring harness for any breaks or places where the insulation may have been rubbed off, all the way down to the starter wiring to the solenoid. Although, I would think if the main battery cable was chaffed, it would pop one of the fuse liinks.
