how fast is a 1991 rs camaro with stock 305 tbi ...

 

slow...low 17s. my 85 z28 with a 305 ran 17.0 when i first got it 5 yrs ago

 

i have a 91 that i dont drive anymore and its soooo slow compared to my 94z28, they are dogs, no accel, no horse power, no nuthing, the only good thing thoes cars had were the irocs.

 

you can swap out the 305 and find a LT1 out of a camaro or firebird. They will fit under the hood, my uncle has a 88 iroc Z, and put a LS1 in it and its a monster. You can probably get a LT1 used with 70,000+ mileson it for like 1,500 on ebay if you look long enough. But yeah the tbi i personal think aren't good, i mean there reliable and all, but you need lots of money and lots of work to make it a 270+hp engine. For what its worth, swap out the tbi and go for a LT1 or something different.

 

Id swap that out and put in a 383 stroker motor.
