hey guys, im currently looking to buy a 94-97 Z28 and was wondering if the automatic transmission would be a better choice than the 6 speed, my father used to have a 94 z28 and he is telling me that the auto would out run the 6 speed in a race, thanx for all your help

its all in the shift, but if your driving the car alot, i would personally prefer an automatic because sitting in traffic sucks with a manual. as far as being faster, that im sure of. usually the autos get off the line quicker but i think the manual has more top end speed.
