since i have to replace the hood front bumper and the driver side fender ive been thinking ill replace it with a 98+ front end what do you guys think???

I say thumbs-down. If you plan on selling it anyway once it's done, what's the point in going through that extra effort? Besides, it will be harder to sell and get a decent price for since it would be a franken-car. Just keep the correct front end.

lol. Older 4th gen style is my preference, and others like the catfish better. As was mentioned by WI, making your car a cross breed could make it harder for you to sell. Man, this simple opti spark change has really turned into quite a project, hasn't it?

ya but im enjoying it alot ive never dove into a car this hard before so its a learning experience too... im really excited to go to paint i just hope i dont really mess it up but i got faith in my self

Painting is fun. Just remember to be patient and take your time. Also, the smoother and nicer you make all the prep work (ie bondo, primer, wet sanding) the better the paint will look. The actual spraying of the paint is the easy part.

got the trans today came from a 94 1500 with just over 100k the truck was wrecked in the back... hows it go 3rd trans is the charm lol anyways im hoping to get the trans and motor installed and the car driving tonight
